House rules

General Rules

• All instructions of employees of the hotel, which are related to the house rules must be followed.
• The lead guest must be at least 18 years old at check-in and must present a valid form of identification. Minors are only permitted to stay when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• We reserve the right to request a deposit. A deposit of €200.00 applies to suites.
• CCTV surveillance is in operation in and around the hotel for security purposes. In the event of an incident, CCTV footage may be provided to the relevant authorities.
• Found items must be handed in at the reception desk.
• The hotel is not liable for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
• Parking is free of charge and at your own risk.
• Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 18. If there is any doubt, a valid form of identification may be requested. In the event of, or suspicion of, intoxication, the service of alcohol may be refused.

It is not allowed to:

• The use, possession or sale of soft or hard drugs is prohibited.
• Having more people in the room than permitted is not allowed.
• The possession, use or sale of weapons is prohibited.
• The use or possession of nitrous oxide is prohibited.
• Trading goods or engaging in the handling of stolen goods in or around the hotel is prohibited.
• To smoke anywhere in the Hotel. In case we notice that if there has been smoked in the room, you will get a penalty of € 175,00.
• Activating the fire alarm by smoking is prohibited. If this occurs, a call-out charge of €275.00 for the fire brigade will be charged to you.
• Using fire, candles or any other form of open flame in the rooms is prohibited due to the risk of fire.
• Removing, covering or otherwise disabling smoke detectors is prohibited.
• Using the hotel room for purposes other than accommodation, including commercial activities, is prohibited.
• Aggressive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards employees or other guests is prohibited.
• Causing a disturbance, for example through loud music, noise or other disruptive behaviour, is prohibited.
• Damaging, removing or taking hotel or room property is prohibited. Any damage caused may be charged to the person responsible.

Additional rules for suites

• A maximum of 2 people are permitted per suite. Visitors are not allowed in the suite.
• Pets are not allowed in the suites.
• Smoking is not allowed in the suites.
• A €200.00 deposit is required for stays in a suite.

Other

• We operate a zero-tolerance policy. In the event of a violation of these house rules, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the hotel immediately without prior warning.
• If you are removed from the hotel, no refund will be provided. Any deposit paid may be retained.
• Serious violations may result in registration within Van der Valk Hotels.
• Management reserves the right to enter a hotel room if there is reasonable suspicion of a violation of these house rules.
• In all cases not covered by these house rules, the Management of Hotel Duiven bij Arnhem A12 will make the final decision.
