House rules

To make your stay at Van der Valk Hotel Duiven near Arnhem A12 as comfortable as possible for you and our other guests, please respect and accept our house rules;

General rules

• All instructions from staff of Hotel Duiven near Arnhem A12, related to house rules, must be followed.
• Any form of aggression towards staff and/or guests is strictly forbidden. When breaking this rule, Hotel Duiven near Arnhem A12 reserves the right to demand you leave the hotel.
• Check-in is only possible from the age of 18. If you are a minor, we ask for a written confirmation from both parents/guardians. This confirmation can be requested at reception.
• Valid identification must be shown at check-in.
• We reserve the right to charge our guests a deposit of €150.00.
• There are cameras in and around the entire building to ensure your and our safety. Everyone who is in our hotel consents to recordings being made. In case of calamities and/or incidents, these recordings may be shown to the authorities as supporting material.
• Lost property should be handed in at reception.
• Hotel Duiven near Arnhem A12 is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings.
• Hotel Duiven bij Arnhem A12 has to comply with the requirements of the Drank- en Horecawetgeving, alcoholic beverages are therefore not provided to visitors under the age of 18. In case of doubt about the age of a visitor, staff will ask you to show proof of identity.
• To avoid negatively affecting the atmosphere during the stay, no alcohol will be served to the person in question if drunkenness is suspected.
• Parking is free and at your own risk.
• The management, the owner of this location and/or persons working for the hotel cannot be held responsible for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage suffered by visitors to the location.

It is forbidden to

• Using emergency exits as normal entrances and exits.
• Taking hotel property outside the building. Deliberately damaging Hotel Duiven property near Arnhem A12 may result in liability for repair and/or renewal costs.
• Drugs (soft or hard drugs) to be used throughout the hotel. Also, trafficking or possession of narcotics is strictly prohibited.
• Using and/or carrying nitrous oxide during your visit to our hotel.
• Using fire and/or candles in the room due to the fire alarm and fire hazard. The fire alarm system will be activated immediately.
• To possess, use or trade weapons.
• To smoke throughout the building. If we find that people do smoke, we will be obliged to charge € 175.00. If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in the room, the fire brigade's call-out charge of €275.00 will be passed on to you.
• Remove or tape off the fire alarm in your hotel room during your stay. If this does happen, Hotel Duiven near Arnhem A12 reserves the right to demand you leave the hotel, or impose a sanction.
• Trading goods in and around the hotel and/or being guilty of receiving stolen goods.
• Causing nuisance to others through loud music, disruptive behaviour or noise of any kind.
• Staying in the room with more than the permitted number of people.
• Staying together with two or more persons in Hotel Duiven near Arnhem A12. Persons in the same household such as families and/or children are excluded from this.
• To receive visitors in your room.
• To receive guests in the rooms for the purpose of sexual commercial activities.

We operate a zero tolerance policy. This means that if you do not comply with these house rules, no warning will be given and you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately. No money will be returned and any deposit paid will be retained. You will also be put on the blacklist applicable to all Van der Valk Hotels.

With your signature, you agree to abide by our house rules. Unfortunately, we cannot check you in without your signature.

In all cases not covered by these regulations, the Management of Hotel Duiven near Arnhem A12 will decide.
